If dreams are shadows of ourselves, I am really interesting

I have been chased, shot, stabbed, cut, and stung by bees. Not, only that but I actually felt all these things. I have smelled a dead body even though I did not know that smell at the time. I have turned into a big black dragon, a small white dragon, a bird, a unicorn, and a griffon. Also most of my dreams have me being the hero, or leader in the dream and I'm really good at it.

I outright die in my dreams several times a year, but it does not frighten me and I always resurrect myself. I've been stabbed, shot, beaten and killed by a small bomb. I too have felt all these.
I am often a shinoar in my dreams. Always either that or human. Sometimes I'm male. I tend to dream in the third and first person at the *same time* which is confusing to say the least.

My dreams tend to be violent though for some reason they don't disturb me too much most of the time. wher to start. humm I have been swallowed whole be an almost demonic seeming vortex of flame, had giant glowing spiders set fire to my kitchen... shape shifted and proceeded to maul some body ( woke up thrashing tasting and blood that time). I have murdered and been murdered have tortured others and have had "dreams where I was tortured, woke up in pain and it hurt to breathe after that one. had ones that i slept through but that lingered strongly through the following day. I have fallen down into a pit of magma from great heights as well. I had one semi repetitive one that I had for months at least once a week where the Apocalypse came and a watched the world be destroyed in a myriad of ways up to and including an invasion of little men from outer space.

The dream that I recall are rarely calm serene things, which is why i no longer post my dreams on these forums or most other forum where they are likely to be vied by children, I tend to remember too many details and some times the oddest details are the ones that stick the strongest in my mind.

fire and walking corpses are the only things that typically freak me out in the dream... which is weird as the fires are hot enough to melt metal bot never burn me.

they tend ot have some unusual qualities. my bad nightmares ( the waking dead are after me... the being eaten by the swirling vortex of fire one to name a few) often have an errily water color painting like quality that is some how sun soaked faded, and pastoral at least at first... I would from time to time wake up from these hearing the child like chatter and laughter of what sounded almost like children some times this sound would continue for some time after I was fully aware of my surroundings, or Id awake to shadowy figures in my room and the sensation that somebody was grabbing me.


the second varient the colors are always vivid but too much so, kinda like the early technicolor films (think the field of poppies in Wizard of oz)things are vivid but far to flat when it comes to the nature of the color i suppose is a good word. These are also the ones where the goings on of the outside world can have the most impact on the dream enviroment.

thirdly come toe ones which I have come to associate with past lives, partially because i often end up in the same places when meditating. These are almost in some ways more real than reality. these will linger with me long into the day even when i sleep through them and some echo or hit of things that happened in them lingers also. like the way water from a very very clean glacier fed stream feels/ tastes when it is in your mouth, the scent of fresh snow, exct.. Oddly these are the ones that are most likely to have something serene of calming about them and they almost always take place in one of three places. they are also the least frequent variation.

I've had countless dreams of falling off of a cliff, or just falling in general. Never knew why but for a little bit at first they scared me, then as they progressed I just didn't care any more because I got used to them. I always woke up before I hit the ground though.

The other ones I had for a little while were tornados. And not just one but it was always a full blown tornado storm where there were like 10 in one area and wherever I went more would pop up. The other strange thing was that it was never windy. Like they were there just as visual aspects, but not physical.

And then a few years ago I started having some more adult rated dreams. Those lasted for only a couple years though. Yay for physically maturing lol.

Now......I'll have em' about random things. Sometimes I'll be racing (nascar, street racing, F1, etc), skateboarding, BMX, school stuff. Though the more recurring type would be warfare. I've found myself caught in mid-battle more and more as of late. Though none of them I die in except for that one that I posted about a while back.

And my favorite which is a rarety, flying. When I start dreaming that I'm a dragon flying I used to get excited and then wake up. But now whenever I have them I just accept it and enjoy the ride. I haven't had any flashback dreams since I joined here, but I've had a few more flying ones.

For my dreams, I have a myriad of them, none that seem to make any sense whatsoever. I've killed in a dream before, and I've been killed many times. I've also had dreams of flying, but never in a way you'd expect. Most of my dreams are haunting, and about me failing when I try to do something. Sadly, my dreams hardly ever involve dragons, and I never really get to be one in the dreams. I might have had a message from my subconscious though, but I am unprofessional and do not know. I can elaborate if anyone wants to hear, it might not be as interesting as it sounds, if it sounds interesting.

I unfortunately cannot even begin to go into the things that have been induced upon me in my dreams. Almost literally everything I can imagine has happened to me.

And yes, I've died a lot. Death always causes me to wake up immediately though.

Stabbed, drowned, suffocated, fallen to my death... I think I've pretty much explored all the ways dying in my dreams Except for the really morbid stuff... for instance (luckily) I've never dreamt of myself being tortured... That must be horrible.
I've dreamt of being a werewolf about three times, a vampire once (which was quite fun..) I've been pursued by zombies many a time... (see what i mean about the zombies Zahz? xD) and strangely enough i usually dream as a male O.o

Recently i seem to be having a lot of dreams about crashing on a motorbike...

^I've had quite a few dreams of being the opposite sex . That was always interesting and highly entertaining. And at times quite the learning experience as well .
