I'm getting pretty deep in thought today...
Why do we do things even if we know EVERYTHING will turn into the past and crumble away???

| Because we have this particular section of time to live and we might as well enjoy it, particularly since there is a good chance that this is our only shot at it. If this is my one chance to live, then I'm going to LIVE. Sitting around moping is a waste, While what I do shall not last... I'm doing it. I'm learning from it. I'm enjoying it. Me. This moment. Right now. |

I've often debated the point of life with myself. Really there isn't much of a purpose to it at all, all that comes from it is chaos, destruction, and death. And yet, we're all here as far as we know. I believe it's one of those things that we're better off not knowing. As to what we're supposed to do with time given to us....sure everything I do, everything I build, will be lost and forgotten in endless span of time. But while I'm here I might as well make the best of it rather than wither away in self pity.

I thought about it last night, too, and figured out that, yes, I might as well live my life to its best and not dwell on the thought anymore...
And then I fell asleep... xD

Why not?
A better question may be "Since we know that everything we do is going to crumble away to dust eventually, why waste time doing things that do not being any love or joy into our lives?"
If everything is ephemeral and transitory, should we not do things that will make us and those we love happy even if it's just for a moment? Why waste what fleeting moments we have being miserable and unhappy?

^ personally i think the purpose of life is to love and be loved and have a fullfilling life, and do the best you can.
Many times I wonder why things have happened and why things still happen. But its not about the memories that we missed in the past, it's about making memories in the present and future.
