Mod edit: The individual song threads have now been merged. ~Namhias.

I don't know why, but recently every time I listen to this song it speaks to me. I feel it summarizes exactly how I feel on a day to day basis, my views on myself and my general belief I'm not stable, and just how unsure I am becoming on this topic and whether it truly explains what is happening...please, listen and tell me what you think of it.

Listening to the words it does hit that certain spot, but the song itself is flat out annoying Laughing . I'm a metal guy, screamo stuff, Metallica, I love it all. But that......that was torture.

I have heard that SOMEWHERE...! >.< Where???

Oh well...Anyways!
I listen to So Far Away by Staind (pretty often) It strikes me as though it describes at least SOME of what's happened/happening to me...It means alot to me...(Sorry can't post link, I'm on my Wii.)

1: My life isn't what it was.
2: Dreams I've never lived before.
3: I'm saying stuff I've never said before.
4: Showing a smile I've never shown before.

~edit - added "list"

Quote:
Another happened on a day when i stood on our lake's beach, alone, and really deeply thought on the topic of dragons...after awhile the winds became violently strong (the strongest Ive seen them, actually pushing me to the point where I had to fight to stand), and when I left I looked up and perceived a winged shaped cloud. The cloud I soon dismissed as coincidence, and as for the wind, it was still windy over the next few days, though not nearly as strong, but I'm sure the turbulence over the lake or whatever it was could explain that.

The quote above is my own post. On that day, I was listening to my music player, and during my walk I was immersed deep in the thought of dragons, and decided to stand by the lake. There was a song that was wrapping up when I got there, then this song was after it:

...and the odd thing is that the winds began to pick up when it came on, and when the song hit the solo the waves became violent, clouds gathered, and the winds became so violent I had to fight to stand, the entire song I was thinking on the topic of dragons. It may be a coincidence, but I still find it odd and a bit eery. After the song ended it got bright again and the winds died down a bit, and I turned back to walk back home. The rest of that day I felt very happy for the first time in awhile, because for about a month after that I was stupid enough to beleive that meant that, somehow, I was connected spritually with them.

Just thought I'd share.

--EDIT

After reflecting on all the things I've passed through, I've been going through my playlist and for the first time ever I'm beginning to understand why I like each individual song, where as earlier I just knew I liked them, and I didnt know why.

Nice song, I like it, although it isn't what I usually listen to, I'm more into power metal.

I'm going to have to agree with Galadreil on this one, sorry. xD Laughing I'm more into metal, screamo, classic rock, Pink Floyd kind of stuff. I do like some country too, but some music just doesn't click for me.

Lol, Im not gonna take offence to you not liking it, we all have different tastes O.o

As for me I listen to about 3 different types of rock: the sappy kind above (such a Stairway to Heaven, Guns and Roses song 'Better', a few of the OLD NON HORRIBLE LINCON PARK like cure for the itch), classic rock (anything Metallica, Seasons of the Abyss, Pink Floyd's Brain damage [FTW!]), and a few newer metal songs that only have partial scremo (Psychosocial, Five Finger Death punches 'The Bleeding'). I'm very picky about songs though, and a few of the songs mentioned above are the only songs I like by that band.
