(Again with "So Far Away - Staind")
I started listening to music just because I liked it, and (like you) found out WHY I like these specific songs. They actually mean something to the whoever likes them.
A list of meaningful songs to me:
1: Speed of Sound - Coldplay
2: Clocks - Coldplay
3: So Far Away - Staind
4: Wish you were here - Pink Floyd
5: One step closer - Linkin Park
6: Behind Blue Eyes - Limp Bizkit
7: What it's like - Everlast (I think...)

And some more, but I can't think of many...

--EDIT--

Look at my sig. That is meaningful to me. A good bit, too

I pestering Namhias im messanger today and bothering him with more links than I probably should have, and when the discusion of Led Zeplin's Stairway to Heaven came up and he said he hadnt heard it, I was a little suprised, mainly because, as a young American, I am still very ignorant of the cultures of others.

So, for those who havent heard it, here it is:

If you haven't heard this, please listen. It is almost a religeous experience, but in a non religeous sence if that is understandable.

Laughing
I don't think it was a culture thing, it just isn't on the radio here and I didn't bother to look it up. Anyway, the song was nice.

Hmmm...songs. I actually would like for a few people to check out a song called Therein, by Dark Tranquillity. I'll post the link at the bottom but, with most of Dark Tranquility songs they tend to be very...abstract. I want you guys to take a look at this song listen (or read depending you have trouble understand the singer) and tell me what you think of it, and what it could mean.

And lyrics

gentle storm / thundering silence
inferior force / uncontrolled calm
vital unlife / logic/chaos/logic

the tone of which his birth ascend
the beat that of a heart descend
repeating in the infinite
an insight made it clear
order stormed the surface
where chaos set the norm
had there always been balance?
...surely not
therein lies the beauty

it was solid
yet ever changing
it was different
yet the same
so I starve myself for energy

the song around his soul will bend
the notes that in this hole will melt
crawl out of science
a dreamland if you dare
disorder clawed the boundaries

we're ordered to stand clear
was it always different
...never the same?
therein lies the beauty

as there were no witnesses
there was nothing to be told
as nothing could be grasped
the story could unfold
superimposed on the elements of anger
/ fear / anxiety / hate / despair / remorse

so break from all that fear hold fast
exposed now turn to all you lack
let echoes be the answers
return from all the screams
wordless now the last attack
so silent it hurts to listen
was it always solid
...to never change?
therein lies the beauty
