Dont think this deserves it's own thread, so I'll say it in this one.

My sister made a weird comment to me today. We were in the doctor's office waiting for her apointment, and out of nowhere she grabs my hand and says 'oh that's so weird!'

and I of course say 'what?'

then she goes on about how I have webbing between my fingers and how I could 'fly' with them and crap (she can be random), then I said that everyone has them.

She then pulls out here hand and tells me that mine are weird because they are so much bigger, and i looked at hers then at mine and they were abnormally bigger, as in around a good 1/4 an inch large...of course this something i would have noticed because who goes around comparing webbing on their fingers? XD After that she started calling me a 'dinosour' and a 'freakin t-rex', and I think you all know what my mind jumped to >_>

But I just laughed, looked at her, and told her that was a weird comment Razz

You keep relating these things to dragons yet you refuse to let yourself believe that you might be one. Last night on MSN was no other indication either (sarcasm intended).

yeah, I know I am probably fustrating both you and namhias by now, but nothing has really clicked yet. Sure the idea seems wonderfull at first, but I just dont know yet.

Anywho, another one last night. Out of desperation last night, before I went to sleep, I muttered to myself 'if somehow it was true, let me remember who I was, what I was, and what it felt like, please.'

Well of course that didnt happen (because, you know, it would have been too convenient), there was alot of dragon imagery/otherkin discusion in it, as in for example prints of the eastern dragon on a basketball, my real life uncle was in it (he has alot of dragon tatoos statues, etc) from time to time, and the like.

And in one part, my mother called for me in a store, and I ignored her and dissapeared into some back room...it was long like a hallway, and in it was a sign with a few paragraphs about 'draconity': I remember reading it but I dont remember what it said. After that I leaned back on to a glass wall that was tilted back at an angle, and I focused only on my breathing. After awhile, it went sort of fuzzy, but when I inhaled it felt like I rose up in the air, and when I exhaled I came back down, and it felt real.

I also had a part of my dream with some 30 year old guy laying on a bench, who was completly normal, then for some reason otherkin feelings overwhelmed him all at once, and he 'awakened' so rapidly and with so much emotion that his hands and head started to bleed. Then from that day foward he went from door to door to raise otherkin awareness XD.

There was some other unrelated jiberish in it too but I left that out for relevance.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT- I think I found one of the reasons I am having trouble accepting this: every time I start coming to grips with it I start researching etc and find something I do NOT agree with that shakes me. For example I was browsing the forums and I came across the topic of power stones, which I beleive in about as much as I do in 'pyramid power' and 'psychics' :\

So then my mind is critical over that(B), and then I see how close draconity(A) is to something like that, so I label B as silly, then I look at A as equal to B...and then the self evaluation begins, baw.

One thing you have to realize is that a lot of the folklore, legends, and myths about dragons as society knows them is all that, just legends and myths. There's little to absolutely no truth to any of this magic, enchanted stones, or any other similar types of BS. The dragon I feel myself as is rather realistic. Nothing out of the ordinary that you wouldn't find here on Earth besides being 6 limbed vs. our solitary 4. And I'm sure you've read a few other's member's personal views of themselves, and there's not much as to "power" and all that other crap.

People do believe in power stones, and psychics for whatever reason, and it's not nice (to say the least) to insult them.

That said, I personally don't believe in any of it, charged stones, and the like, but that doesn't mean that people don't draw real comfort from it, so it works for THEM.

I've said this to you on MSN already, but you've got to find the truth yourself. This particular topic cannot be dissected, reason doesn't always explain it. You've got to make up your mind and decide what feels right.
