Dragon Communication

I'll second that. I don't have any knowledge of a dreamworld. As for language, I think mine was a very loose one - seems to be sounds based on feelings, basic growls and whines etc

Is this not a court for those who communicate about dragons, with dragons, and for some, as dragons?

I understand many different conveniences of thoughts and feelings not in my own birth tongue. (English)

And I can convey my thoughts and feelings without using my birth tongue.

All that I think that I know about dragons was passed on to me by another. And I came here to find out more about dragons. And it is working!

Kimodragon, what do you mean by conveying your thoughts without using your mother tongue? Do you speak some non-human language? And if so, how do you come to know that language?

Or do you claim to be a telepath? Please explain.

If you care for the people around you and are aware of their feelings. Then you pick up on little nuances that you are not even aware of. If you spend a lot of time with them. Facial expressions, accents, words and phrases in other languages. Body language, as well as sighs, grunts, growls and groans. Laughter, squeaks, squeals, titters, claps, and snaps.

Some even develop empathic abilities. Empathy means that I understand the feelings that you are experiencing while you are experiencing them. Sympathy means that I understand and I will do something about them. Empathic abilities are not magic. It is just a heightened awareness of your surroundings and the feelings that are encompassing you at that time.

There is always NVC. Which means non-verbal communication. You may convey your feelings without speaking. It really comes in handy when you are playing poker!

I was trained by my mother from an early age to be aware of my surroundings. Because if you hold still and stay silent, the information that you will pick up from those around you will serve you well later on. And you will not be taken by surprise so easily. And you may also find the answers faster than those around you. And be in a better position to help them. Or not. It also helps you make decisions with confidence and know why you make the decisions that you do.

OK, but what does it have to do with the topic? In this thread we're speculating on how a non-biologically-human dragon might communicate, not how we humans communicate. It's not that we can draw any definite conclusions, however.

I am saying that if I can commuicate in these ways. Then there are ways of communicating other than just speaking. And since we can not come to a definte conclusion. Anything is possible!
