Hey folks, I wanted to post this strange dream I had a few days ago, just felt the need to do it.
Ok, it starts around here:
I was walking in a city (dunno which one, when I dream I often walk in cities), and there was this man following me all the time, you know, muscled, angry face, clenched fists; really a bad guy. But then, everything around me became brighter until everything was white. There was nothing around me, everything had disappeared, I was in what seemed complete emptiness.
But, there was this man standing in front of me again. I turned around to walk away from him and started running. When I looked behind me, he wasn't there anymore. He didn't reappear in any part of the dream again.
'So, where should I go now?', I thought. I started walking again, and walking, and walking... I heard a growling noise behind me but it didn't make me turn around. Until something tapped me on the back of my head. I quickly turned around to see what it was, but there was nothing.
I went walking again, and tried to stay calm. But then whatever it was tapped me on the back of my head again and so I turned around again, seeing a black... something coming into my direction. I was [deleted] scared and it got even closer, until it just vanished in thin air a few meters in front of me... I started running as fast as I could, looking back all the time to make sure nothing was following me.
And then, bam! I hit a door with my head. I stood up, and my eyes were blurred, but that went away after a few seconds. walked around the door a few times before touching it. I grabbed the doorknob and swung the door open... and there was a room. Yay, finally some matter! I went inside and the door closed and locked itself. There was a mirror, and I went to stand in front of it. But strangely, there was no me! I could only see the room around me. I was not there. But when I blinked my eyes, still a bit blurry from the bang; I was there. Well, at least not me, but my dragon form. I couldn't move, so I started to get claustrophobic. It kept looking at me and was whispering something to me, but I could hardly understand what it... I said. I focused on the sound of its voice and finally understood what it was saying: Maraxxus Eredexa. Which happens to be my dragon name. It kept saying it and saying it and every time I heard it louder in my head, though the dragon didn't say it any louder than before. The sound became so overwhelming that I woke up in my bed with a loud sigh, as far as I remember. Couldn't sleep any more and felt depressed all morning. That's about it I think.
PS.: Reminds me of when I woke up and couldn't move my body and my eyes were opened. I wanted to call my girlfriend to hit me so the rest of my body would wake up, but I couldn't; because nothing worked! [deleted] scared, I was.
Keep it civil. ~Namhias. _________________ lolling around a lot ^^ |

Reminds me when I tried to p-shift in my dream, then my dream literally screamed at me when i tried, 2 or 3 times...And when I tried to p-shift, and instead got a room full of angry dragons... o.o NEVER do that! *Shudders*
Anywho, seems just another dream to me. Nothing significant. Still...strange... _________________ VICTORY GUM! |

If this were my dream, I'd guess that it was some sort of attempt to inform myself that I am a dragon. In other words, it sounds like it was a redundant revelation, a "re-run" of sorts.

This is a phenomenon called "sleep paralysis". Don't worry if it happens; it only lasts for a few minutes at most. Actually, next time that happens, try telling yourself consciously that you're having sleep paralysis and note what happens, since I'm really curious. Strange things can happen in dreams when someone suddenly realizes they're dreaming.

Dang... With this on top of the "ferret" incident and that other dream you mentioned about Galadreyil getting trigger-happy in a forest, you sure get all sorts of weird stuff in your head don't you? o.O _________________ The statement below this one is false.

I'd like to see this.
Anyway jaspertjie, or Maraxxus Eredexa, next time you see your dragon self in your dreams try calling you name out to it. Don't run away if you can . Good or at least interesting things tend to happen when you turn to face your dragon self. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. But there is a problem; I have a very... disturbed mind when asleep. I don't seem to be able to control my dreams; they just seem to... happen. _________________ lolling around a lot ^^ |

I'm the same way, I can't seem to do a single thing of my own will in my dreams. What you can though is banish that fear. Nothing bad is going to come from your dreams besides your subconscious just scaring you a bit. And if you find a way to banish that fear that wont happen any more. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. Above lies heaven, below hell. jaspertjie: I've never met anyone else who could control their dreams and I don't know how I do it myself. The most you should try to do is learn to keep them in memory right after waking. _________________ The statement below this one is false.
