Haha, that is possible, but hard. Most of the time, when I wake up I don't forget the dream, but the fact that I did dream. _________________ lolling around a lot ^^ |

Reminds me of when I woke up and couldn't move my body and my eyes were opened. I wanted to call my girlfriend to hit me so the rest of my body would wake up, but I couldn't; because nothing worked! |

This is a phenomenon called "sleep paralysis". Don't worry if it happens; it only lasts for a few minutes at most. Actually, next time that happens, try telling yourself consciously that you're having sleep paralysis and note what happens, since I'm really curious. Strange things can happen in dreams when someone suddenly realizes they're dreaming.

So that condition has a name, this happens to me about once a month. I can sometimes trigger it to happen right after I wake up because I have learned when This happens I can have lucid dreams. But man it is hard to get out of it if I know I need to end it for some reason takes alot of concentration and then I will get the feeling of suffocation as I force myself out of it. not sure about them lasting for a few mins to me( in my lucid dream state) seems like I can get them to last for about 30 mins |

If I remember correctly, sleep paralysis is the brain making the body 'lock' in place so you don't start acting out your dreams - preventing most people from driving, running into traffic, irritating people etc _________________ Ranna, the first, the smallest bell.
