ok so im going to list everything I own or know that has dragons in it. I know Ill list some repeats that has been posted in other post

In the movie dept
-Spirited away
-Dragon heart
-dragon heart 2
-reign of fire

In the Anima dept.
-The legend of the dragon kings
--A ok anima that is about 4 brothers that slowly discover that their unnatural speed and strength comes from that fact that they are dragons. as the story devoples it seems every evil super power is after them to steal their power away or ruin the good name of dragons, and yes they do eventual turn into dragons.

In the game dept.
-Breath of fire 1
-breath of fire 2
-Breath of fire 3
-breath of fire 4
--The breath of fire series is one of my favorite dragon games and best old school RPG in my book. I think it was when I got BOF 1 as a kid is when I had my first encounter with what a dragon is and it started my awakening process. also BOF 5 does not belong on this list.
-Draken guard
-draken guard2
-Eye of the dragon
-Spyro games
--out of the spryo games the "legend of spyro" series are decent games and the final one "dawn of the dragons" was actual real fun and capture what it is to play as a dragon. at any moment in the game spyro can take flight and fly around as much as he wants. also when you play the game a second time you get to keep all his power ups so spyro is an all powerful dragon from the start of game Smile.

Book dept- I got way to many books to post ill post some of my favorite ones that I don’t think have been posted
-The enchanted forest chronicles
-The draconomico- the book of dragons
-The book of dragons, by ciruelo
-Dragon Rider

Spirited Away was just epic, plain and simple. :3

What's the name of that other anime you talked about?

Now you're talking my language. Green I thought the third game was the best. The second one was also excellent due to the plot being more character-driven than event-driven, rather similarly to the second half of Final Fantasy VI. Breath of Fire 2 is also the first video game I ever played that made me cry, and no not because of the brutal difficulty of the combats. >.>;

Mild spoilers.
On the contrary, Dragon Quarter is in fact the most otherkin-themed game in the series. You just have to know where to look for certain things. Early on, for example, Ryu is walking through town minding his own business and suddenly he just stops walking and looks up at the roof of the cavern silently, and this is BEFORE he meets Odjn. What could that have been about? Wink Maybe he also had his own personal motive for wanting to see the sky, apart from the desires of his friends and the dragon that bonded with him. Maybe that motive was the very reason that Odjn selected Ryu in the first place.
The fifth game was blasted by many critics for its one-dimensional world layout and its time limit (it's the only RPG I've ever heard of that has an irreversible time limit >_< ), and here and there I've also seen some players grumble about the hero being a natural-born human "corrupted" by the ghost of a dead dragon, rather than an actual dragon himself. I used to look upon this game more harshly as well, but out of the whole series it reached out to me the most spiritually (as fluffy as this will sound) because I have more than one soul. And while I'm not slowly being mutated from being possessed, I have gone through a significant amount of my life in fear of either accidentally allowing my other half to manipulate me in a way that doesn't fit me and of being forbidden to "touch the sky", let's say. I can't honestly say whether Breath of Fire 5 is better than the others though; it's just different.

-draken guard2

I considered looking into those, but decided not to since I heard some rather nasty comments about plot weaknesses.

-Eye of the dragon

I'm VERY interested in this game if I can ever get some free time.

The book of dragons, by ciruelo

This book has excellent pictures in it, but to anyone who wants it, don't bother reading the text. The biological section makes statements of utter nonsense (even for fantasy), such as "Dragons live in societies, but they don't like each other and are incapable of forming friendships with each other, so they depend on humans for friendship instead," and "Water dragons live in oceans and lakes and can ONLY survive on a diet consisting exclusively of human virgins, and only human virgins who are dressed properly." And I swear I'm not exagerrating. As for the story section, the stories all consist of unflattering stories that border on being downright offensive, all with dragons who are either not characters at all or get brutally slaughtered by gary stu knights who have some sort of cookie-cutter "destiny". XP

Absolutely LOVED this book. I did get spooked out a lot though upon discovering that the main character had the same name as I do and looked a lot like me. Shock

Yes the third one is my favorite to, though sadly I can not finishes number 4 because the game freezes at the 3rd to last boss at the end of the game Sad

and when I said bof 5 does not belong I should of been more clear on what I meant. To me Bof 5 is not a BOF game, they should of gave it a different title and said it was a different game, because nothing in bof 5 really fit the BOF theme of past games.

The game drakenguard 1 & 2 were ok games the only thing that kept me playing was being able to hop on the back of the dragon and reign fire on hundreds of army dudes. I never did finishes two because [spoiler] the dragon you ride wants to take over the human race, or do something that did not vibe with his human rider and so to beat the game you need to kill your dragon. bah they should have gave that game two endings were you could side with your dragon and conquest the world Wink

also do try to find eye of the dragon it was a fun game for being a dragon game.

A few other movies with dragons in them are Eragon, Dungeons and Dragons, and of course the new one How to train your dragon. There was also an old movie called Dragonworld about a boy who goes to live with his grandfather in Scotland and discovers a baby dragon.

I know of a book about a young boy and his sister who happen upon a cave with a young dragon inside and a portal to the 'dragon world'. It's been very long since I read it (at primary school). I can't seem to find it on google. The Dutch name of it is "De Blauwe Weg", meaning literally "The Blue Road" (The title has to do with the way dragons go to the afterlife in the story). Does anyone else know what book I'm talking about and how to get another copy?
