Ok So I seen other post their dreams so I guess its my turn. Also this only refer to my dragon dreams. I only have a dragon dream about twice a year and I been having them since childhood.
The premise of all my dreams have all been the same but the locations and how things are happening in the dream are always different. The key thing that all my dreams have in common is that im being chased by an unknown enemy. I don’t know who the enemy is all I know is he wants to end my life and I am terrified of it.
In all my dreams I am a dragon and I know I am being chased for the fact of being a dragon. Most dreams occur in areas where im being chased over wide open landscapes with me flying away from my pursuer, it can also be either day or night.
Two of my dreams that stick out are that I am in a large underground transport tram headed to an underground city for dragons. The city im headed to will be abandoned and im hoping that I will be safe their.
Another dream that I have that is different from the others is that im in a large city and my pursuer is right behind me chasing me in the air, as I try to out dodge it, it is firing a weapon at me that emits purple light.
In all my dreams I never see what I look like other than I know I have a basic look of a western dragon probably 30-40ft from head to tail |

That's a big city. o.o
What sorts of feelings are you left with after you wake from these? How surreal do they feel while they're happening?

| The dreams feel very real, and the fear im feeling in the dream is very real to, but when I wake up the fear I had in the dream goes away pretty quick and I guess I can sort of say I try to block out the memories of being chased and just cherish the fact I had memories of flying in my dragon form. |

| I used to have dreams like that, back before I really came to grips with being human AND otherkin and was able to be completely comfortable with those combined aspects of myself. It's a conglomeration of fears and subconscious images. A large part of it was the fear of being different. |

I dont think My dreams have anything to do with a fear i have in real life. My dreams have been constant since I was a child, about 15 years nows. when I was a kid I didnt even know what a dragon was until I played breath of fire 1.
I think my dreams are a past memory, and what ever im remembering was the most tramactic event in my past life and is my strongest memory I have of it, possible the most recent of my past life, because maybe I never got away and the one chasing me did catch up to me? |

From the age of three to about 12, I would have the same nightmare 4 or 5 times a week. In it, I would play tag with my family, only 'tagging' them killed them and once they were all dead their skeletons would chase and kill me.
Not all recurring dreams deal with a past life. |

Sometimes an unconscious fear can be mistaken by a memory in dreams. I think you maybe afraid of being different, but the fear hasn't really surfaced yet. I've had dreams where people chase me, what ever my form maybe, but I wouldn't automatically jump to the conclusion it is a memory. It could be a memory, but from the sounds of it, it sounds more of a buried fear within you. But that's just my opinion.

In truth Ill never know if these dreams are a fear or a past memory. The most important thing is I dont let it consume my life, I guess I should try meditating one day. I might get a deeper insight
also talking so much about my dream has made me realized their may be a connection with a project I have been working on in real life, or it may just be a coincidence?
the thing that I just realized that may have a connection is that I have working on a neverwinter night mod on and off slowly for several years now. the thing that sounds the same is the main character is a human who wakes up as a captive prisoner with no memory, in truth the character is a dragon but was hunted down and had his powers stolen from him. the main character escapes before he is executed, and is on a quest to regain his lost power, the thing with my mod to why it is taking so long to finish is the fact that I cant write the ending for it, the majority of the mod is complete but the end battle, been having writers block for that part.
so my nwn mod sounds sorta of like my dream I made a character that was hunted for being a dragon.
probably just a coincidence |
