Qauntum Physics, [I dont know much of it]

Okay as I said I dont know a lot about quantum physics, but I have heard some interesting things from it.
The quantum mind or quantum consciousness hypothesis proposes that classical mechanics cannot fully explain consciousness, and suggests that quantum mechanical phenomena, such as quantum entanglement and superposition, may play an important part in the brain's function, and could form the basis of an explanation of consciousness. There are several quite distinct quantum mind theories, and these are discussed in the sections below.

this link explains it better then I basiclly it explains why some people can sense what is happening to the other, Like me and Galadreyil are able to know what we are thinking about, as it were when he was at training I heard him growling dispite being all the way in NJ. And him in Georgia. I saw something about this on natioanal geographic, it seems to make sense to me. What do you think?

As a physicist, I feel the strong need to reply to this topic.
Quantum entanglement, as a part of quantum mechanics in general, describes the properties of smallest particles (and on special occasions the bigger ones as well) we know of.
Quantum mechanics is a mathematical way to describe properties of matter we weren't able to describe with classical mechanics. The main difference being that quantum mechanics describe matter and energy as quantized, while classical mechanics does not. Wikipedia does a better job of explaining than I can.

While quantum mechanics might have something to do with how the brain works, it still only applies to the smallest of particles in the brain. (For example electrons.) The brain is still very, very large in comparison to the size of an atom, and I think it's doubtful that quantum mechanics influence its workings in any noticeable way.

As for quantum entanglement, the example of two electrons and their spin, is a good example. It basically says that if you know the spin of one, you can predict the spin of the other, without observing the other, which violates the Copenhagen interpretation. It has nothing to do with sensing someone's thoughts. Sorry.

Personally, I find it funny to see quantum mechanics and spirituality pop up every now and then. The two are completely unrelated though. The best way of understanding quantum mechanics is immersing yourself completely in the topic, and work out the math. Working out the math is not my favorite thing to do, because I'm more an applied physicist than a theoretical one, but seeing and understanding the math at least once is pretty rewarding I think.

first of all.. its mathematics. Then if one is logical, one has to understand that you will most likely be proved incorrect by future generations, hence one should be a tad humble (eh?). Also if (and i am blonde) the smallest particle exists anywhere, it is possible it also exists in our head.

I am aware quantum physics and spirituality are nothing in common, I use it as a means to help the right side of the brain, [which judges reality, rashnality and logic] understand what is taking place. Otherwise it is the same as believing in something with out thinking of it. Me my self I love to learn new things, my possible ability to sense what Galadreyil is doing being one of them. I want to understand it so I can use it properly, its like someone that has telekenesis, they want to control it same way I do. I'm not trying to sound arrogent, but I just what to understand my spirituality, and my draconity. Just like anyone else, quantum physics seems like the right way to go it explained alot to me, as much as I get from my dreams every so often. So when I get back to colledge I'm going to take that corse.
