And all of the citizens were active members of the forums or trustworthy, well-mannered dragonkin. What would it be like?
What would the government system be? Would Otherkinship be turned into a religion, and used for the country religion? Economics? Foriegn policy? What would we devote R&D to? All of the other things that go into making a country?
I just want to know how well we'd do things. Asking you guys seemed good because this is by far the best community I have ever been a part of. There's no flaming, no fighting, everyone gets along, and these forums are already like home to some of us. I rate this hotel 5 stars.
I'm interested to see what you guys come up with.
As far as government goes, I think that a TRUSTED council would be good, as long as it doesn't deteriorate as fast as most other government systems do. As long as the council is trusted, and has the best intentions for the people in mind, It would be a good choice. _________________ "Don't waste your time, or time will waste you"

I agree with you Nightmare. This is the best site that I have ever been on. And I love SDB and the friends that I have made here.
If we were a country, I think that we should have a high council. And that is what their job would be. To council the community as a whole. A group of dragons that have proven themselves wise and trustworthy, and choose to serve the community. Not to run things. But to bring wise council to the members when there are questions of great importance and that will affect the community as a whole.
As far as a religion goes. I say let Love rule. If it is meant to be. It will be. _________________ From you I receive to you I give

If you tried to model a country after the structure of a forum, it'd be something along the lines of a casual feudalistic state. The owner/administrator would be at the top, with the mods as "enforcers", and all the other users at the bottom, subject to the rules set by the admin.
As great as a forum is, it's a bad governing system. _________________ To win against an opponent stronger than yourself, you must not be weaker than that opponent. - Takamachi Nanoha |

Well, it's a bad governing system if you're not a moderator or the site owner. If you are though, then it'd be party time, until the underlings revolt I guess. _________________ "People who are easily offended need to be offended more often."

Well, I wasn't really saying that the governing system would be that of a forum, I was just saying that the members of this specific forum would be interesting in terms of the sole population of a country due to everyone's attitude towards eachother. Though every society has at least one fatal flaw... What would that flaw be in this situation? _________________ "Don't waste your time, or time will waste you"

Good point. Many times has this been shown throughout history. Many examples that I can't be bothered to think of. _________________ "Don't waste your time, or time will waste you"
