The problem with being completely morally neutral is that that means anyone can "Do as thou wilt" and wreck the planet. I prefer a safe(r) planet with the possibility of being morally hypocrite or having bad judgement in some areas above a totally lawless one.

So yeah, neutrality would seem good, but in practise, is hard to maintain.

Dragonflame, Do you know who Aleister Crowley is?

And you guys answered just as I thought you would; with a bunch of "It depends on..." and "Morals are..." Oh well.

And yes, I did some poking around on occult people/websites. That's where I got the quote from. And by the way, I'm speaking 'worldly' here -> I myself am a christian, and the set of rules we have is pretty clear. That being said, I am allowed to judge one's behaviour, but not the person themselves.

I just wikipedia'd Aleister Crowley and noticed he was the guy to come up with that sentence. I just don't know how somebody can say "Do as thou wilt, for that shall be the whole of the law. Love is the law, love led by the will, and; Every man and woman is a star" And at the same time like to call himself 'The Wickedest Man in the World' 'The apocalyptic beast 666' 'baphomet' and so on.

The reading that I have done on occult people/websites generally brings me to either eery stuff or wads of contradictions. I'll type more on this later, I have to go now

Oh, and sorry for hijacking your thread Smile
I feel like I = a dragon. Not I = with a dragon. Therefore, whether my dragon is good or evil depends on myself. And since I believe we're all sinners, I believe my dragon is just as bad as me :V.

I studied... well, am studying Aleister, and the "Do what thou wilt" part is to be followed in respect to others' right to that law... if that's worded in a way that makes any tiny shred of sense. Basically, you can "Do what thou wilt" as long as it doesn't restrict anyone elses ability to do so.

And the "your other" thing is me trying to make it clear that I wasn't talking about you in your current life. But hereafter, I'll assume that any topics made in the "Dragon talk" section are automatically talking about past lives unless mentioned otherwise.

I'm not good with the whole other kin subject and have just barely found about it.... so I'll just say what I hope mine is like.

I hope mine is exactly neutral.

I'll stick with generally good. I have a strict internal code that I follow that comes from my draconity and it involves most of society's basic rules and the such on morality and ethics. Though mine goes a bit more in-depth and heart-felt.

Unless you totally don't care what happens to the world (AKA having reached Nirvana =P) you will never be neutral.
