Kimo and I were just discussing the topic of religion vs. existence.
Neither Kimo or I subscribe to any religious regiment. Even though I was raised in a Christian home with Christian values. And was even trained so that one day I might lead a congregation. But I have seen too much and listened to well to believe that any one religion is the ultimate head honcho to the universe.
Kimo and his kind share a belief in a beginning that stems from the very center of the universe and everything will one day return to that center. We are all apart of it.
I kinda like that idea. Very comforting.
But then I posed to him the question of where consciousness came from. And structure and order.
He says that it all comes from the same source and that the best way to describe the order and structure of the universe is like a large sheet of particle board. Everything that is in the universe is in this sheet of time and space and there are multiple layers of existence layered one on top of another on top of another on top of another.... so forth and so on. All pressed together by the pressure of existence itself.
Ones perspective of the universe is according to where one is placed on one of the layers of the universal particle board. And what material one is made of in the fabric of the particle board.
I asked him about the consciousness that each and every individual in the universe has going on during every single second throughout the existence of the universe.
Kimo says that we are all tuned to the same consciousness. He says the best way to describe it is that we are all different types of life in the Mississippi river. Different places at different times within the river. But all dependent upon the river for existence just the same. All of us with different end destinations according to the rivers flow and our place within the river. Feeling the flow of the river of consciousness as we move within it.
Which got me to thinking of a question to pose to those who claim "otherkin".
Does your other share your religious and moral beliefs?
Or does your other believe differently than you do?
As for me, as you can see.
Kimo has enlightened me on a thing or two. _________________ From you I receive to you I give

My "other" is me, and so shares my views.
In that lifetime which I draw the idea of my kinself from, though, I didn't have much in way of religious or spiritual beliefs. We were animalistic to a point, but we may have had oral myths, one of which being similar to the firebird here on Earth. In terms of spiritual awareness, religion, magic, or different planes of existence, we had nothing. We were more concerned with the present, what was immediately around us, and survival. |

Greetings Salaiek.
When you say that you had an oral myth similar to that of the firebird here on earth. Do you speak of a myth of you and your kinself or are you speaking of the existence of dragons?
Does you myth tell of your rebirth....like our beloved Phoenix?
Who is the teller of these myths?
And to who do they speak?
And whom do they speak of?
Thank you for sharing with us Salaiek.
Thank you for listening. _________________ From you I receive to you I give

I don't remember any clear specifics, but I remember a visual of it the firebird. Not sure if it's actually related at all to my draconity, but seeing as it popped up with it in context of "things I remember", I'm taking it at face value.
I don't know who they speak to, but it was viewed the same as many people view myths here: as stories. The firebird had little, if anything, to do with our race. I get the feeling it was more "this is a creature we/our ancestors saw in our world", that never or no longer existed in our world.
I honestly find it dubious at best that we would actually have a myth like this, let alone having birds in our place seeing as how the biology is drastically different. But this is one of the few things that has stuck since I first began exploring my draconity years ago. |
