d'oh! Brick wall Eh? Neutral

There is no such thing as "advanced aspects." This isn't a game where the difficulty level gets higher as you get further into it. You just progress or find peace within yourself at what you may know.

You're showing a very limited train of thought here. That pile of mush in your head known as a brain has a lot more potential than you're putting to use. That feeling you keep getting when people tell you what you don't want to hear, it's called an ego. Put it aside and think for a minute. Use logical reasoning.

I'm not asking to proved wrong.

You didn't have to ask. I just threw in that bit of logic/common sense for free. You're welcome.

*****************

I don't know what your reasons are for being here. You obviously know nothing about otherkin, outside of what some of the crazier ones (read: bat**** insane ones) might have told you in other communities.

People rarely ask to be proven wrong. It's all thanks to this little thing I like to call Mary Sue syndrome. (If you don't know what a Mary Sue character is, google it.) For example: you come across a community where a majority of the members have an affinity for dragons, be it a psychological connection or spiritual connection of some sort. So, you see the opportunity to be "special", but our brand of crazy isn't even special enough for you to pretend to be: you try to one-up us by claiming to be a physical "half-dragon" (complete with background story!) Here's the thing, though: you forgot to account for this little thing called common sense and the fact that overall, we do tend to use it here.

Claiming to fit into the psychological archetype of a dragon, having a past life as a dragon, and conversing with the spirits (or ghosts) of dragons is one thing. Crazy as it is, it cannot scientifically be disproven, nor can it be proven. Your claims are another thing entirely. You defy all logic, common sense, and scientific fact.

People, could we please keep things friendly? My thoughts on this topic are this:

Physical dragons don't exist on earth. To be physically different, at the very least you have to be from another planet, and unless I get to see a spaceship with my own eyes, I don't think so. Like I stated earlier, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

Cody, you said at the very beginning of this topic that:

I posted that I was a half dragon and people asked for proof.I don't know that I have any solid proof. But what makes what I belive any more diffrent than what you believe.

Putting all other replies aside, do you mean that you believe you are part dragon in a spiritual sense, or a physical one? There is a huge difference to how people would respond to that.

Now I'm big enough to admit that all of us could be crazy, but our beliefs are not based on the physical. As stated by other people, anything physical is just not possible. However, we have come to the conclusion that we have a spiritual connection to dragons, which is different for everybody.

You asked more information about otherkin, (in a... not so handy way,) and we're happy to provide that information, if you are sincere in your curiosity.

I was asking for more in depth detail.

I'm done discussing my opinions to people who just want to say its wrong.

I'm absolutely sincere in my curiosity. The reason I came to these fourms was to learn and share my thoughts.

Well my father was a dragon(full dragon) and of course he was in a human disguise.(how I dont know) Then for some reason he fell in love with my mom and eventually made love to here.Later she told him that she was pregnant. At first he dident belive her but found out it was true.He told her to run away with him but she refused saying she had to stay with her family. He ran away and I was born.later she fell in love with another man and maried him.Since I was little I was always vary fond of dragons and throughout school was smarter, stronger,(even through I did not look it)faster, had beter eye sight, had better hearing, kept to myself, and was much more sensitive to cold than any one I knew.On my birth day when I turned 7 my dad came to me in a dream and told me evrything at first I throught it was just a dream but it he kept coming back talking about different stuff. One day I desided to but what he told me to the test and asked my mom if my dad was my biological father. She said no.

I have nothing more to add here.

Fair enough, feel free to ask any question you wish, preferably using a new topic, as I intent to lock this one later.

I Personally don’t believe that codythedragon is part dragon. It is illogical and impossible; no matter how one looks at it in my oppinion, However I’m going up in defense for codythedragon, and state that no matter how you look at it, this IS a public forum and there is NEVER a need to insult people out of their beliefs, no matter how strange or illogical they are/seem. THESE comments below are not necessary and ARE basically trolling in my oppinion…. You don’t believe him, state it, but don't fight him over his own beliefs. This is a VERY simple thing to do. Normally I would just ignore this; but when I saw the second post, I decided to continue reading. Here are some things I considered as a problem.

Quote:
your beliefs would be something I'd as much believe from a person shooting up acid or eating shrooms.

Quote:
I'm all for keeping the peace, but I can't look past something so blatantly ridiculous.

Quote:
You are just incredibly naive, gullible, and/or imaginative.

Quote:

Also, nice trick you did there Celtore… on that last quote you placed both an insult, then sugarcoated it to save yourself…still, insults are insults. As I have said before, since this IS a belief section -which means talking about personal beliefs might I add- People should not be attacked for it…no matter how ridiculous, idiot like, impossible, illogical they might be.

It is one thing to not believe something because it’s illogical in your eyes, it’s another when you attack the person because his/her belief is illogical to your eyes.

Now, since I said what I saw and my oppinions on the situation, I’ll leave this topic and reintroduce myself… since I came back after all. Wink

For the most part you are right, but there comes a point where you've gone too far. It's gotten to the point where it's at that gray area to being legitimate and trolling.

And this was my quote Laughing , I take insult to my insults being credited to others. beh
