I think in most cases no, as is my case. The reason I can do what I can at my age is 1: I'm an American soldier. 2: I grew up really tall and skinny and now weigh over 200lbs with minimal body fat. By Army standards I am overweight for my height and age so they have to do waste taping and body fat percentages to make sure I'm within Army regulations for healthy body weight. I just tell them I'm really dense but they don't believe that makes any difference with my weight .
Let's see.....speaking of seeing. I have phenomenal sight at distances and in the night. Two things I've gotten praised on so far while in the military. Up close though like reading my i-phone or a book a lot my eyes hurt from straining to read the letters. I have the text size increased on my laptop so it doesn't bother me but I am farsighted.
Hearing, very selective but slightly above average....considering the average is dropping because of kids listening to blaring i-pods and I just listen to them at a comfortable volume. Although other sounds drown out what I'm trying to hear often times making people repeat themselves when talking to me.
Dexterity, well I'm a phenomenal marksman. Used to be pitcher in high-school baseball but was mostly outfield granted I did make varsity freshman year. For now though I can't throw worth crap, out of practice.
Reflexes, seem to be a bit above normal when comparing myself to the people around me. It's keep a few glass doors from falling and shattering all over the place a few times.
With all this though, again my strength is just due to my body size and how I've trained. Reflexes and dexterity come with training and a lifetime of sports/skateboarding/video-games. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. My wings carry me upon the winds. Galadreyil has a lot of the abilities I do, but again, I don't believe they're from our Others.(I train my body extensively, although I'm only 13.) However, my two otherkin help me in math, so there's that. (Not that I'm bad in math, {I'm in the AP classes} they're just better. I average a B+ in math otherwise.) |

I don't believe being otherkin really gives you any sort of "abilities", and anyone who tells you otherwise is most likely lying. It can, however give you unique and diverse perspectives on different topics. For example, Kris sees some things much differently than I do, so I'm able to know and understand both sides of certain topics, where otherwise my views would be very limited. _________________ I use logic. Put simply, no.
Otherkin are just normal people physically. Though I guess it's possible to say that some people want to train themselves in certain ways, in order to feel better in tune with their inner self. Any oddities can be attributed to random chance.
I can, for example, see very well in almost total darkness, also, while wearing contacts, I have much better than average eye sight. I don't think it has to do with me being a dragon though. |

Excellent that answers that question.
Mind if I ask more on this topic to save space? |

Things relevant to this topic can be posted here but if it's unrelated to the original post and purpose of the thread you'll need to make a new topic, but look around before you do post a new thread to male sure someone hasn't already made a thread on that. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell.
