May I join this conversation? I would like to give my view on scale colors.
This is my basic on scale colors. The most powerful scale color is gold because gold dragons come from the sun. Silver comes from the moon naturally. Special magical dragons there. We also have emerald, ruby, sapphire, and black. When you talk to a dragon, you do not say red dragon or green dragon. To dragons, saying such an ordinary color is an insult to their pride and prestige. There's of course white and black and those are the only two colors that are called by their actual color because they have not gemstone or metal. At least I don't think they do. So that's how-Oh! I forgot Bronze and Copper. Those are colors as well.
That's what I have to say about scale colors. |

My view on scale colors:
Our eyes only pick up "visible light", so if a dragon were to have a "color" with a wavelength of "radio", we couldn't see it.
Colors range infinitely for me.

Interesting you mentioned that, not many people see light that way. I agree wholeheartedly. The visual spectrum is very narrow. |
