what is a dragon to do when he is unable to find a fellow dragones to meet? I've been looking for a mate for so long that I am sick from the effort. what should I do when none of my kin feel inclined to show themselves to me? I didn't join this forum to find a mate, only to ask for help and request some pointers.

Dont go pinning all your hopes for happiness in this life on finding a 'dragon mate'. It's not impossible but you will face a lot of misery and come across to most potential partners.as bloody weird if all you care about is their 'soul'.
Should you happen to meet someone you like, who shares your sense of humor and at least a couple interests, then focus on being HAPPY not what kind of soul they may happen to have!
Quit the boohoo no-one is conveniently like me and therefore i shall be alone forever routine, and go find someone you can be happy with.
Pursuing a single idealized goal in a partner, be it a dragon soul or huge boobs, will always look a bit shallow.

Don't be so fast with judgments Obsidian, Dragonkin are like that and it's just annoying to someone like a kin that this person can't find that one mate or friend. I don't want to act melodramatic, none of us try to do that, but that's just a fact and the disappointment brings these words forward to find the information he needs.
I would commit to a murder to find a partner that seems to fit, a female Dragon trapped in a human body that understands the disappointment. I have seen that I'll never find her, we are just different or humanly said, psychologically not normal. I hope that some of us meet the person with whom they can find happyness, Since you are a Dragon you can find happyness with the same sex or a female, perfectly possible.
Wear a mask and act like you have nothing to do with kin's or whatever and you will find someone, but like this, it's not that easy.

Masks? Oh no. I make no se ret of what I believe, and i don't think anyone should. I also just think pinning all your hopes for happiness on finding someone just like you to be an excersise mired in misery. Find love for love's sake. A soulmate may not have ever been a dragon at all...

I gave up on finding a male or more specifically a male dragon to mate with a long time ago. I've been engaged now for almost a year and have a 5 week old daughter. Yeah I do feel a bit off having a female as a mate when my soul is a dragoness and I firmly believe I was born female in a male body. My mate doesn't believe in otherkin stuff but I do and I know she's not dragon kin, but she still makes me happy for theist part. Do what makes you happy and don't shortsight opportunities.

You're Belgian if I remember correctly, the expression "Ik zou een moord plegen om ... te krijgen" doesn't translate into English that well :P. Unless you were being literal.
On the subject, finding a dragonkin partner in real life is going to be quite a challenge:
1: People's beliefs differ, some people just identify with dragons a bit, whilst others think they exist on some far away planet etc. Might you succeed in finding your partner, they might not share the same views on the things surrounding draconity.
2: How to word this... I'll go with 'unpleasant surprises'. Basically, the otherkin/furry community has it's share of insanity. You might like somebody, just to then find out they're very heavily into <Insert random fetish here> |
