I too wanted to find a dragon mate, but had no luck in finding any, I had enough trouble finding someone who was interested in me at all. I'm not being self pitying or melodramatic, that was how it was for me back then.

Then I went out with someone, and after a not-brilliant start, we got fond of each other, and 4 1/2 years down the line, we are almost inseparable. We are brilliantly matched, our interests fit, and he doesn't mind the fact that I'm rather odd Smile

He's not a dragon, and doesn't believe in otherkin, but he's my perfect man. Just look for the person who's right for you, regardless of what their soul may be

I don't think someone can find the same enjoyment with another soul, but then again it's just my vision. Love is more than cuddle each other.

Oh come on,this is a small error of a non-English person. Embarassed Give me some credit. How do you know that I'm Belgian anyway? Confused

Sorry! I can't Geiv credit come back when your MMMMM Richer.

I've always wanted to say that sorry. lol Anyway as the others said to find the perfect match is quite the endeavor indeed, believe me I have seen what happens when someone thinks they found the right person for them, they end up being manipulated/controlled or whatever the persons intentions are. Not saying that anyone who you think is a perfect match is going to do these things to you. Just saying you should always take it with a grain of salt, and not believe everything one tells you. Skepticism is a very powerful tool if used correctly, using it on yourself is also quite useful.

I myself have always been the loner type, I know people who have tried to love me, but in the end I just ended up pushing them away as is my nature I don't know why it is, it just is. Of course there are few I always hold in my heart.

I don't think it is appropriate to say that lonely love also exists but it just comes to reproduction and no social relationship. I think most dragons, and now so dragonkin may think that it's a sexual relationship because the reproduction was more appropriate for them then what humans call love. Love was certainly present, but not always. love is a arising feeling because of sensations that something feels what love means for humans, but in fact it's all about reproduction.

This may seem like a stupid suggestion but what if a singles chatroom was created in this forum? I didn't join to find anyone but it sounds like there is somewhat of an interest floating around this group.

Tell me who you love and I will tell you who are.

Who is looking for the mate? The dragon? Or the human?

Can you seperate the two?

Should dragon look for dragon and human look for human?

Why is mating so important to whom is looking for a mate?

What is a "perfect" mate?

And how will you know when you have found this mate?

Where would one look for a mate for a dragon in human form?

How can we be helpful?
