I want to know if other dragons have experienced being able to move phantom limbs like their wings and tail and actually feel the movement in their human body.
(when I say functional, I don't mean actually using them to fly or anything along the lines of them being physically there) |

Usually I can; sometimes I can't. It just depends on the day, I guess. Take my wings, for example. When they're there, I ALWAYS feel their weight, as well as just feeling the *cough* "existence" of every part of them. But then again, it's like an arm. Do you necessarily take note of its existence EVERY time you move it? Or do you not have to think about it? My wings (tail and crest, too) are the same way. However, I'm not necessarily able to move them every time I feel them. _________________ I use logic. Deal with it.

Functional, meaning full use of, no. I've had the sensation though of wrapping my tail around one of my legs and stretching my wings though. _________________ I am trapped between heaven and hell. As for me, no. I do feel something on left side of back a few times but that just it. I possibly might of felt a tail once and maybe some pain, but that just it. _________________ Beware. I bite! |

The actual physical ABILITY to move them is merely a thought process. You know how when you walk, you don't really THINK about such movement, as it is instict. Phantom limbs (Whether it be a severed arm, or wings/tail) are mental extensions of past physical extensions. The brain functions through bio-electrical signals, which traverse the nervous system. Eventually, those signals repeat themselves, causing activation of a certain "long-term memory" chemical. This, in turn, leads to instinctual behavior.
Therefore, all of these "phantom limbs" are possibly past-life "long-term" instictual responses. _________________ Logic is my hero.
