I am at a bit of a mental conflict at the moment. For quite a while I have struggled with the question of whether or not I was a dragon, and finally I couldn't take it anymore. I need to somehow figure out how to understand what being a dragon is like, and what to do to figure out if I am one. For now however I have always denied the fact that I was anything different than Human, because the very thought seemed insane, but somehow I have always been different than the rest. Anyway, I could talk hours and hours, and I would frankly enjoy it too, but for now I need to cut it off. Long story short, how do I understand more about what being a dragon is like, and how do I figure out if I truly am one?
Thanks for the help, hopefully I'll learn a bit more about this in the future, and if you need any more explanation (because I believe I did a pitiful job) you can PM me |

Being dragon is different for everyone. There is very little unifying us, other than the fact that we identify as being dragon. It's a personal, objectively-unprovable part of ourselves, and the only one who can tell if you are for sure is yourself.
The first step would be to stop denying that you're anything other than human. There is nothing wrong with being human, but I understand the feeling that there's more to oneself than we initially think.
Try allowing yourself to think of you being a dragon. Just try the concept on, if that makes sense. Don't worry about whether you really are one or not, that can come later. Just see if it feels right to you. Think of what dragons in general mean to you, and connect with/emulate that for a bit. If it feels silly and wrong to you, then by all means stop and reassess the whole dragon thing. But the big thing is to just let yourself explore the experience without letting conscious analysis get in the way, until you're ready to approach it.
Others would probably suggest to meditate on it, which is also not a bad idea, if you can find a method of meditation that works for you. |

| Thanks, I'll try what you have suggested and see what happens. |

Just like salaiek said, you are the only one who could find out. I myself is still struggling to find out, but I am pretty confident. Just look into yourself, and what do you see, what does it mean to you, then why? Answer those questions to yourself and that might help you out. _________________ You don't have to look no farther for a shoulder to take hold of and sob on. I will be there for those who need it.

| I agree also with salaiek. I just want to add, that it might take time. |
