Calling all bibliophiles!
We are going to start a book club (also a movie club, but thats in a separate thread), and we need recommendations! The plan is to select a book for those interested in participating and after a set amount of time, taking time to discuss it. Most book clubs have a one-month turn-around; we will have to decide on an appropriate time-frame. These books do not have to be dragon-related or of specific genre; rather, anything yoou think is interesting.
As a first suggestion, I am throwing out two titles:
1. Outlander - Diana Gabaldon
2. The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss
Once we have a few recommendations, we can choose by popular vote. Books should be available in both print and virtual forms so as to appeal to different levels of convenience. When a book is chosen, we will post questions for everyone to consider while reading it, which will also be points of discussion come that time.
Let the suggestions begin! _________________ The salmon sisters: bringers of justice, harbingers of the smelly fish <* )) ><

I think Ill toss out the
1)The wizard of Oz. (the complete oz collection is available as a digital volume only the first book is called the wizard of Oz) in print though they can be tricky to track down http://www.openculture.com/2013/09/the-complete-wizard-of-oz-series-available-as-free-ebooks-and-free-audio-books.html
2) The sleeping dragon
book 1 of Joel Rosenbergs Guardians of the flame. again tricky though usually inexpensive in print the whole series can be downloaded as 2 volumes digitally.
3) Homers The Illiad
yup i went there shouldn't be too hard to find a copy as its about as classical as you can get _________________ say hello! at zahz's keep;P |

I think this is a great idea!
My suggestions are:
1. Wuthering Heights- Emily Brontë.
2. The Picture of Dorian Gray- Oscar Wilde.
3. Thud!- Terry Pratchett. _________________ â– Inquisitor Lavellan â–
